Cool Smart Rebates – Changes Announced for 2015

As a result of recent technological advancements, and DOE Regional Standards governing the HVAC industry, revisions to the list of qualifying equipment was necessary for 2015.

Note that EER ratings have been removed from the Ducted Air Source Heat Pump and Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump eligibility requirements.

You should also note that there are potential rebate changes coming in June on Heat Pump Water Heater models with greater than 55 gallon storage volume (see the chart in the HPWH Rebate Application).
