Viega Radiant System and Viessmann Boiler – Somerville, MA

Viega Radiant System

TJ’s Plumbing and Heating, Inc. installed a complete Viega radiant system throughout the home.  There were 12 radiant circuits.  Each room used Viega Climate Panes and 5/16″ Viega PEX Barrier tubing.  Our system will run constant circulation with thermostats acting as a high limit.  We installed a Viega basic heating control so the system operated using full outdoor reset.

Viessmann Boiler

The boiler installed was a Viessmann Vitodens 100 gas-fired, condensing, wall-mount boiler.  The boiler was coupled with a Lochinvar Squire 40-gallon hot water heater for domestic hot water needs.

Rebates

The project qualified for $1,400 in rebates from Gas Networks.
