Lochinvar Gas-Fired Boiler and Indirect Hot Water Heater Replacement

TJ’s recently completed a gas-fired boiler and indirect hot water heater replacement at an independent senior living community.  The equipment includes  a Lochinvar WHN gas-fired boiler and a Lochinvar Squire indirect hot water heater. The new Lochinvar equipment now provides the resident with 96% efficiency and qualified them for $1,900 in Gas Networks rebates.

Small Space Requirement

The Lochinvar WHN085 gas-fired boiler was perfect for this application since the equipment had to be installed in a small space in the garage of the residence.   The boiler is highly efficient, compact, and wall-hung, allowing the Lochinvar Squire indirect hot water heater fit nicely in the space as well, while still allowing easy access for maintenance.

CO Detector

In accordance with MA State Code, TJ’s also installed a hard-wired CO detector in the boiler room.
